Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-04
This Privacy Policy explains how TrialLens ("we", "us") handles information when you visit this website.
Information we collect
You do not need an account or to provide personal information to browse this site. Like most websites, our servers may automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and analytics.
Cookies and consent
We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or open Preferences to choose by category. Nothing in the Analytics category runs until you opt in, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Your choice is stored locally on your device. We apply Google Consent Mode v2, which defaults all storage to “denied” until you grant it.
Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary — a single local entry that remembers your consent choice. Always active; required for the site to work.
- Analytics (optional, off until you opt in) — Microsoft Clarity captures usage metrics, heatmaps and anonymized session interactions (page views, clicks, scrolling) so we can improve the site. It is not used to identify you personally. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for how Clarity processes data.
We do not display advertising and do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights to access, correct, erase, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request details about personal information collected and may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined under California law.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Data sources
Clinical-trial information is aggregated from public registries, including ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. public domain) and ISRCTN (CC BY 4.0), and enriched by us. We are an independent index and are not affiliated with those registries.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.
